    Laura Woodall
From Pope Star to Pop Star

Stardom beckons for teenager Laura Woodall. In 2010 she won Best Female Vocal in the Worcestershire County Pop Icon competition and in the same year she performed at the Papal Mass in Birmingham to more than 55,000 people. This summer Laura has starred in her own pop video and has released her first single as a featured artist on Molan Spectrum`s Perfect Love Song. She has recently appeared on….. and her video, produced by Mo.J, has been screened on Dance Nation TV

Laura was spotted by directors of a music publishing company whilst performing at a “Demo-me” event in Birmingham and was signed by them within weeks. Jan Mosiewicz, a local songwriter and Chairman of Molan Publishing, says his company plans to release a number of singles featuring Laura and, if all goes well, an album in 2012. Phil Lane, Jan`s co-director, says he knew Laura had something special about her that would grab the public`s imagination. With more than thirty years’ experience in the business Phil, owner of Beehouse Studios and one of the original owners of Horizon Studio`s, (the home of Two Tone), is confident that Laura will develop into one of the UK`s top female performers. “As soon as we put Laura in front of a microphone we could tell she had it in her to be a professional. You just have to watch the video to see that the camera loves her and having trained as a dancer since she was three Laura has all that it takes to be a star”

Laura is currently studying for her “A” levels and Molan Publishing are keen to emphasise that their plans will not interfere with Laura`s studies. “We are working closely with Laura who is determined to complete her academic studies to ensure that her academic studies don’t suffer and that we look after her professional development”

Laura is signed to Molan Publishing Limited, and records under the C`mon Records label
